The delegation of the Executive Council at the Conference on Financial Crisis

At the invitation of the Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) from Salzburg, the delegation of the Executive Council of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, comprised of the representatives of the Office for European Affairs and Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technological Development, have participated in the Conference “Regional and Local Financing in Times of Crisis. Possibilities, Problems and Chances”, which IRE organised in Vienna, Austria.

The speakers at the conference were representatives of EU institutions – European Parliament, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, Mayor of Lodz (Poland), Mayor of Pitesti (Romania), Mayor of Grafenwörth (Austria), Mayor of Regensburg (Germany), representatives of the Committee of the Regions, economics experts, etc. To serve as a reminder, the Institute of the Regions of Europe is an institution gathering regions all over Europe, and a number of business enterprises are involved in the work of economy groups.
