Danube Transnational Programme – Kick-off Event: A Stream of Cooperation, Budapest, 23-24 September 2015

The kick-off event of the EU Danube Transnational Programme, involving 14 participating countries, is being held in Budapest.

In the new programme, EUR 263 million will be allocated for projects on innovation, environment and cultural heritage, better connected and energy responsible Danube region and well-governed Danube region. The conference was opened by the Minister of State for the Utilisation of EU Funding, Ministry for National Economy of Hungary, Balázs Rákossy, and Head of DTP Managing Authority, Imre Csalagovits. The first call was opened at today’s conference, and the overall indicative amount will be provided from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance II (IPA II) and European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI). Project participants will be entitled to co-funding of 85% of total projects costs. The European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina will, in cooperation with partners from Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Slovakia, participate in projects on intensified RES use and improvement of start-up business.
