The Office for European Affairs, a partner of Italian and Austrian regions
Upon the invitation of the Government of the Austrian Region of Burgenland, the representatives of the Office for European Affairs of the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina have participated in the symposium to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Alps-Adriatic Working Community, which has grown into a well-known region of Alpe-Adria-Pannonia over time. On that occasion, the future of the Alpe-Adria-Pannonia region and projects especially in regional competence and climate protection were addressed in the discussions.
“Vojvodina has made successful steps in cooperation with regional partners in the Alpe-Adria-Pannonia region in the past years. The Office for European Affairs found itself in the team with Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Slovenia and Austrian, Hungarian and Croatian regions through the successful European MATRIOSCA Project, which was implemented within the Alpe-Adria-Pannonia region. Our wish is to continue with similar projects and to realize as many activities as possible, which will concretely contribute to the implementation of European standards in our country”, said Gabriella Haas, Office for European Affairs.
