The Office for European Affairs in visit to Irig

In accordance with its activities, the Office for European Affairs has continued with paying visits to local self-governments and organising seminars aimed at employees in local self-governments, districts, economic chambers, administration, justice and other relevant institutions and interested citizens. Yesterday, the representatives of the Office for European Affairs visited Irig Municipality, on the basis of signed Agreement on Cooperation.

The main topic of the visit to Irig was further cooperation related to the use of European funds. Moreover, there was a presentation on the current programs of the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Serbia, through the financial support of IPA Funds 2007 and 2008, for project proposals “Strengthening Serbia-EU Civil Society Dialogue” and “Regional Socio-economic Development (RSEDP2)”. Vladimir Petrović, President of Irig Municipality, thanked on the cooperation and support and announced the preparation of project proposals in culture, use of the potential of geo-thermal water, tourism, etc.
