Concerts of Spanish artists in Vojvodina resulted from European cooperation
On the basis of cooperation the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina has with the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is based on institutional, economic and cultural ties, classical music concerts are being held within the project “Nei Suoni dei Luoghi” (In the Sounds of Places) in our province these days, and they have been organized by the Office for European Affairs, Informest, Musical Youth of Novi Sad and Provincial Secretariat of Culture.
Young and talented Spanish musicians, who have already been awarded, are performing four concerts in Subotica, Novi Sad, Sremska Mitrovica and Sremski Karlovci, to which admission is free. The pianist, Judith J́auregui is performing in Subotica and Sremska Mitrovica, whereas the duo, Fernando Arias (violoncello) and Luis Arias (piano) in Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad. “I am very proud to be in your town and that music connects people, who otherwise probably would not meet” said Judith J́auregui at the press conference. On the occasion of the concerts, Gianluca Nocera, the new director of the project “Nei Suoni dei Luoghi”, has also come to Vojvodina and met with Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, to consider new forms of cooperation.
