Our joint project represented at the conference “European Cooperation Day” in Šibenik

The conference “European Cooperation Day“ was held in Šibenik on 6th and 7th October, organised by the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia, as the Managing Authority of the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020, and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia. The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and partner organizations from the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Croatia (University of Novi Sad, Vinkovci Water Supply and Sewerage Ltd, Agricultural Institute Osijek) attended the event. The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with previous results, but also new funding opportunities under the cross-border cooperation programme in order to achieve common regional progress.

The „EXploitation of Different Energy sources for GREen Energy production –  X DEGREE“ project was officially presented for the first time at the conference.

Prof. Filip Kulić PhD Project Manager informed the participants about the objectives, activities and expected results of the project. The significance of the project will be reflected primarilly in establishing the first system for continuous production of electricity from wastewater in the region, launching the first system for production of biogas from combined raw materials (municipal wastewater, green mass, industrial organic waste), as well as establishing the first mobile laboratory for the analysis of raw material potential, optimization of production and analysis of biogas quality in the region.
