Some important things around us

The start of the project “Ecological water management against extreme weather conditions in the border area – ECOWAM” was solemnly marked on November 30, 2017 in Szeged, while an educational workshop for representatives of local governments was held on December 12, 2017 in Temerin. The main goal of the workshop was to familiarize the representatives of the local governments of Temerin and Vrbas with the main project activities, considering that most of the activities will be implemented on the territory of these municipalities.

 

The project “Ecological water management against extreme weather conditions in the border area – ECOWAM” was approved within the Intereg – IPA cross-border cooperation program Hungary‒Serbia. The total value of the project amounts to 1,758,447.43 euros, while the co-financing of the European Union amounts to 1,499,227,805 euros. The project is implemented by the Directorate for Water Management for the Lower Tisza area – ATIVIZIG from Hungary and from Serbia by JVP “Vode Vojvodina” Novi Sad and the Fund “European Affairs” AP Vojvodina.
