The second lecture “History and Creation of the European Union“ held in Zrenjanin

The third lecture “History and Creation of the European Union” for the sixth grade pupils of elementary schools of Zrenjanin and Lukićevo was held within the framework of this year’s “European Village” event, organized by the city of Zrenjanin in co-organisation with the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, with the aim of promoting the values of the European Union.

The lecture was attended by a hundred pupils with their teachers from the elementary school “Đura Jakšić” in Zrenjanin and elementary school “Branko Ćopić in Lukićevo.

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Teodora Milkov Manić and Jelena Radosavljević Rovčanin explained the position of the European Union at the moment to the pupils, together with the historical circumstances that influenced its establishment and the focus was on the significance and goals behind the unification of the nations of Europe.
