Training course on European project development for employees of a preschool institution
Representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Jovana Kontić, Čarna Zeljković and Bojana Blašković held the training course “EU Funding Opportunities” at the “Guliver” kindergarten in Novi Sad from 5th to 7th October 2016, to equip preschool employees with skills for individual development and implementation of EU funded projects.
Participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the EU programmes open to participation of institutions from the Republic of Serbia and in particular with the possibility of using the eTwinning portal within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, which is created for employees of educational institutions, respectively preschool educators, teachers, pedagogues, directors in preschool institutions, elementary and secondary schools. The portal enables communication, collaboration and exchange of information on work methods, examples of good practice in the field of education, as well as joint project development that require the use of information and communication technologies in work with children. For users from Serbia the portal is available in Serbian. Detailed information on current Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation programmes were presented with special emphasis on programmes which require cooperation with partner institutions from Hungary, Croatia and Romania. During the informative and practical part of the training participants were informed how to prepare project proposals for EU funding and what are the necessary steps and procedures that need to be respected.
Practical part of the training course enabled the participants to apply their knowledge and gained skills. They were working in small groups and later presented their project proposals which included budget preparation, selection of potential project parteners, filling in the logical framework so as to learn how to independently formulate project proposals with respect to procedures of the European Union.
