Training Course “EU Funding Opportunities“ in Independent Trade Unions of Vojvodina

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina have held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities“ – in organisation and in the premises of Independent Trade Unions of Vojvodina. The training was attended by the employees from the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, employees from the City Administration of the City of Novi Sad, Public Utility Company “Novosadska toplana” Beočin, Matica Srpska, employees from Elementary School “23. Oktobar” from Sremski Karlovci and Elementary School “22. Avgust” from Bukovac, as well the representatives from the Council of Kikinda Independent Trade Unions.
At the very beginning, the participants were informed about the European Union Programmes and the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, with focus on the INTERREG IPA Programmes of Cross-border Cooperation. The essence of the training was to learn how to write a project proposal with the use of the logical framework approach and logical matrix, first through theory and then through hands-on experience, within which, overall and specific objectives, activities and results were defined, together with indicators, sources of verification and risks of a project. On the last day, the participants were presented with the budgeting of a project, which they mastered through numerous examples.
