The training course “EU funding Oportunities“ in Ruma

At the invitation of the “Eco Spiral” Association from Ruma, a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities” has been held at the premises of the local elementary school “Veljko Dugošević” by the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina: Jelena Radosavljević Rovčanin and Jelena Tošković.
On the first day, the participants were informed about the EU programmes, with an emphasis on the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes. The participants were divided into three groups from the start, so that they could gain hands on experience in the techniques of writing EU projects.
On the second day, the participants were acquainted with a most important document when developing projects, i.e. the logical matrix. By doing an exercise, each group completed the document based on ideas of project proposals that they had designed the previous day.
On the third day, the most interesting topic of the training course was presented, i.e. project budgeting. After the theoretical part, each group also did an exercise related to the topic.
During the course of the training session, the participants created three project ideas which they could submit as applications under the INTERREG IPA CBC Croatia-Serbia and INTERREG IPA CBC Serbia-B&H. In the end, the participants and the lecturers exchanged their impressions about the training course, since the participants had not had the opportunity to attend a training course in project development or to write EU funded projects before.
