Training course “EU funding Opportunities” at the South Bačka District Association of Dystrophy

At the invention of the “Vratimo deci radost u pokretu (Let’s Bring back Joy to Children in Movement)” of Zrenjanin, the representative of the European Affairs Fund of APV, Jelena Tošković held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities” from 11 to 13 April 2018.

The participants were informed about the programmes available to the Republic of Serbia, as well as the AP of Vojvodina, with focus on the INTERREG IPA programmes, i.e. EU-funded cross-border cooperation programmes.

As with every three-day training course, the participants were divided into several groups, since one of the goals is for the participants to gain hands-on experience, in addition to classical lectures, so that they could get familiarized with the rules for writing and submitting applications for EU funded projects in practice.

On the first day, the participants designed 3 project proposals, selected potential partners from our side, as well as potential partners from the neighbouring countries within the programmes available to apply for. On the second day of the training, the presentation focused on the document of great importance when developing projects, i.e. the logical matrix, which they filled in as part of the exercise.

On the last day, the participants were informed about the topic which was to the majority of them the most interesting, i.e. the budget. After the theoretical part, the participants did an exercise and together with the lecturer made a wrap-up.

At the end of the training, the 3 groups developed 3 excellent project proposals that could be submitted as applications under the INTERREG IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia and the INTERREG IPA CBC Romania-Serbia. The attendees were also awarded certificates after successful completion of the training course.
