Results of the call for literary translation under the Culture Creative Europe published
The results of the call for literary translation under the Culture Creative Europe are published: Serbian publishing houses have achieved success and set our country again on the first place by the number of approved projects under the call for literary translation.
At this year’s call, the committee focused on a smaller number of projects, which were, thus, allocated greater financial amounts. Out of 22 approved projects, five are from Serbia, four from Bulgaria, followed by Croatia and Macedonia with three approved projects.
The publishing houses from Serbia whose projects will be translated are: the independent Odiseja Publishing Agency for the project Old Continent, New People: Finding Your Own Place, Štrik Publishing House for the project Women’s Decameron: for a new Renaissance in European literature, Kontrast Publishing for the project Europe: Different Journeys, One Destination, Arete Publishing House for the project European Literature Today: Universal Stories of Personal Revolutions and Helix Creative Studio: Graphic and Website Design & Development for the project Beyond Horizons: cross-cultural mosaic of contemporary European fiction.
The total amount of funds allocated to publishers from Serbia under this year’s call for literary translation is EUR 271,008.59.
