The closing conference of the ENSURE project

The closing conference of the European Network for the Cohesion and Solidarity in Rural areas – ENSURE project was held last week in Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia.

The meeting gathered participants from 13 countries – Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Montenegro, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Croatia, Romania and Serbia.

The participants of the conference on ENSURE project cooperation network were experts in the field of rural development, agricultural policy and the Mayor of Slovenska Bistrica. The speakers at the roundtable “The challenges for the EU and the future of rural development beyond 2020” were representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, professors of the University of Ljubljana and representatives of the Slovenian Rural Development Network.
