Training course “EU Funding Opportunities“ held in Pančevo
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Čarna Zeljković and Jovana Kontić, held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities” at the secondary school of medicine “Stevica Jovanović“ in Pančevo from 10th to 12th May 2017. The objective of the course was to train the participants for individual development and implementation of EU-funded projects. The Fund’s representatives tried to encourage the participants and provide them support for the development and improvement of skills necessary for project proposal development.
During the training course, the attendees obtained information on the structure and prospects of applying within the framework of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 with a special focus on the cross-border cooperation programmes with Romania and Hungary, as well as Erasmus+. The theoretical part of the training course was followed by the practical one, done in working groups, when the attendees had hands-on experience in developing their project ideas in cooperation with the lecturers. The presentation involved tools for project idea development, such as the problem and objective tree, logical framework and grouping of activities into working packages. In addition, the necessary steps and procedures prescribed by the European Union related to the budgeting of project proposals were presented by giving a practical example. After the training course, the participants were awarded a certificate on successful training completion.
As a result of three days of training received six project ideas that can be placed on some of the competition of the European Union which will be open in the future.
