Training course in Bački Petrovac
At the invitation of municipal leaders, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opporutnities” in the municipality of Bački Petrovac last week.
The participants were representatives of the Tourist Organization, Kulpin Women’s Association, Slovak Vojvodina Theatre, Museum of Vojvodina Slovaks, local self-government, etc.
On the first day, the participants were informed about the EU programmes available to the Republic of Serbia, with an emphasis on INTERREG IPA cross-border co-operation programmes under which Vojvodina was eligible to apply. At the beginning, the presentation focused on the approach to a logical framework, after which the participants were divided into groups and the first exercise followed. On the second day, the participants were familiarised with the logical matrix, an important document when developing projects. After the theoretical part, the attendees gained hands-on experience filling in the logical matrix.
On the third and at the same time last day, the participants were presented the topic “Project Budgeting”. The topic was also covered by exercises, which the participants successfully completed with their colleagues in groups. The training course was successfully implemented through examples of best practice and interaction, and the trainees developed 3 project ideas which they could submit as applications under the INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Hungary-Serbia and INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Croatia-Serbia.
The certificates were handed to the participants by Srđan Simić, President of the Municipality of Bački Petrovac, who thanked the Fund for holding the training course, the trainees who attended the course, as well as the Office for Local Economic Development of Bački Petrovac that organised the training course.
