A training course on EU project development for educational workers held in Novi Sad
The training course “EU Funds: from idea to realisation“ has been held at the secondary school dorm in Novi sad, as one in a series of training sessions for employees of educational institutions from AP Vojvodina in the second semester of the Academic Year 2014/2015.
The training in EU project development was received by 23 participants of institutions from the municipalities of Novi Sad, Titel, Bačka Palanka and Beočin.
During the first day, the attendees obtained information about the funding opportunities under the EU programs such as: Erasmus+, Creative Europe and Europe for Citizens, with a special emphasis on the CBC programmes with Hungary and Croatia relevant for South-Bačka District and funded under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). On the second day of training, the attendees could gain hands-on experience in the preparation of cross-border projects by formulating the basic project elements of the logical framework. The training resulted in four project ideas in the field of introducing extracurricular activities in primary and secondary vocational schools, moreover awareness raising of the importance of preventing early school leaving, as well as of the fight against peer violence at schools. On the last day of training, the topic was project budgeting and the content of application form.
So far, 260 participants from the education sector in Vojvodina have underwent the training course on EU project development.
