Exchange of researchers within the Cornucopia project

Within the framework of the “Competitive sustainability of agricultural enterprises through the development of new products with added value based on alternative plant species – CORNUCOPIA” project, which is co-financed under the Interreg IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Program 2014-2020, there was an exchange of researcher in the Hungarian town of Szatymaz on 15 November.
Since interactive workshops are the best place for transfer of know-how, especially among scientists, young researchers from Hungary and Serbia presented the results and experiences of research related to the cultivation and processing of alternative plants.
The project, with a total value of EUR 352,798.57, not only has a scientific and research dimension, but also motivates farmers to healthier, economically more profitable, organic farming of alternative plant species. The project duration is 24 months, until 31 March 2020. The EU co-financing is 85% of its total value.
