Round table “Youth and Heritage” was held in Csongrád-Chanad County in Szeged

On March 10, 2022, in Csongrád County in Szeged, a round table was held within the project “Youth and Heritage – Tradition and Future in the Cross-Border Cooperation Region” organized by Csongrád County. The project worth 130,156.14 EUR is co-financed by the European Union within the Intereg-IPA cross-border cooperation program Hungary-Serbia.

On behalf of the Csongrád-Čanad County, the participants of the Round Table were greeted by the Advisor of the General Assembly of the Csongrád-Čanad County Ana Mađar, who thanked all those present for participating and stressed the importance of introducing young people to the cultural heritage of border regions.

The following spoke about the importance of protecting cultural heritage: Saboč Mađar from the non-profit organization OFA National Employment Public Benefit; Balash Hayas and Benche Mate Balkus, students of the University of Szeged; Peter Folbert, Regional Development Consultant (Hungary – Serbia); Atila Voroš, an entrepreneur in the field of tourism, as well as the director of the Museum of Vojvodina, Dr. Tijana Stanković-Pešterac.
