Seminar “Creative Europe – project development“ held in Andrevlje
The Antenna of Creative Europe Culture Desk Serbia, being a part of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, organized the seminar “Creative Europe – project development” at the Centre for Economic and Technological Development in Andrevlje from 8 to 9 December 2016.
The aim of the seminar was the development of project ideas and preparation of project proposals to apply under the Creative Europe, building the programme and organisational capacities of institutions and organisations from Serbia, as well as contribution to decentralization in the field of culture. In addition, the seminar was organised to enhance communication, cooperation and exchange of experience among the representatives of cultural institutions and organisations from cities and municipalities of Serbia.
The seminar programme involved the presentation of the Creative Europe, presentation and analysis of the Creative Strategy, development of the project idea which could be submitted as an application, then a detailed presentation of the financial planning and management of projects, as well as of the complete application procedure and supporting documentation required when submitting applications under the programme. The seminar also involved an analysis of participants’ project proposals, i.e. it provided an opportunity for participants to present their project proposals and, through active analysis and discussion with the lecturers, to obtain suggestions and practical advice to improve certain project elements, so that their project proposals could be more successful in matching the objectives and priorities of the Creative Europe.
The calls for participation in the seminar were addressed to all institutions and organisations from Serbia planning to apply under the Creative Europe, regardless of the fact whether they participated in international cooperation projects or they were just planning their international activities. The seminar was attended by 26 representatives of various institutions in the field of culture. Among them were representatives of the provincial administration (Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities), museums (Museum of Vojvodina), galleries (Gallery of Matica Srpska from Novi Sad), theatres (Serbian National Theatre), libraries (Pancevo City Library and “Veljko Petrovic“Library of Zabalj), cultural centres (“Mladost“ Cultural Centre of Futog and “Vuk Karadzic“ Cultural and Educational Centre of Plandiste), as well as representatives of civil society organisations (“Kamisibaj“ Paper Theatre of Vršac, International Music Centre of Zrenjanin, “Pecat“ Association of Zrenjanin, “Musical Youth“ Association of Zrenjanin, “Danubius“ Association of Novi Sad, Journalists’ Association of Ruthenians (NAR) of Novi Sad, “Misolovka“ Youth Theatre of Novi Sad and “Akademska knjiga“ of Novi Sad).
