The third joint project team meeting of the “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” project
The third joint project team meeting of the “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” project was held in Novi Sad on 25 April 2018.
It was organised by European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The meeting aimed at discussing the implementation of the activities in the second reporting period and preparation for the following one.
“The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” strategic project, of the total budget EUR 8,699,537.91, of which the amount of the EU (IPA) contribution is EUR 7,394,607.21, has been approved under the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia, and it is aimed at improving the cross-border water management and risk prevention systems. The project is being implemented jointly by the Lower Danube Valley Water Directorate, PWMC “Vode Vojvodine, and European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
