The third international meeting within the POWER project

The third transnational project partner meeting of the “Ports as driving Wheels of Entrepreneurial Realm – POWER” project, co-financed under the Interreg ADRION Programme was held in Sarajevo on 11-12 December 2018. The objective of the project, whose deadline for implementation is 31 December 2019, to make an analysis of energy needs and needs of port areas in the region, to assist their development into innovation hubs, as well as to create a network of innovation hubs aimed at joint cooperation and development. The European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina is one of the project partners, beside the National Research Council Construction Technologies Institute of Milan – Italy, National Confederation of Crafts and SMEs of Ravenna – Italy, Rijeka Development Agency Porin of Rijeka – Croatia, Center for Technology and Economic and Environmental Development Sarajevo – B&H, City of Durrës – Albania, Cooperation and Development Institute of Tirana – Albania, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas of Thessaloniki – Greece, Chamber of Thesprotia of Igoumenitsa – Greece.

The third international meeting in Sarajevo gathered all project team members. Jano Puškar, Jovana Rapajić and Jelena Radosavljević Rovčanin, European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, attended it. The Fund’s representatives presented how the implementation of the communication plan and the visibility of the project was developing, and informed the participants about the related upcoming activities, since one of the Fund’s role within the project was to ensure its visual identity. Other aspects of the project were also discussed at the meeting: the methodology for enhancing the cooperation between enterprises and research institutions, establishment of an innovation hub network, development of a common strategy for the development of ports in innovation hubs, development of a platform and database.
