Open Doors of Srem

The co-financing rate of all CBC projects has increased from 5-10% to 15%, whereas advance financing is still being negotiated with the European Commission. Projects on social and economic cooperation and environmental protection can receive up to €1 million, while the upper limit for the realization of cultural and artistic cooperation is €250,000 in one of the programmes including Srem as well. A new challenge is also the new cooperation programme between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With reference to applicants from Srem District, emphasis is put on the programme with Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the campaign for CBC programmes The areas of support are social and economic cohesion, improvement in the productivity and competitiveness of economic, rural and environment resources, cross-border initiative aimed at the exchange of people and ideas, and improvement in civil and social cooperation in general.
