The Second Call for Proposals under the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia has been launched

The Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia has launched the Second Call for Proposals for a wide range of applicants and actions.

The subject of the Call for Proposals:
Co-financing is intended for projects aimed at improving cross-border water management and risk prevention systems, reducing traffic bottlenecks in the cross-border transport network, encouraging cooperation in tourism and cultural heritage preservation, and enhancing SMEs’ economic competitiveness through innovation-driven development.

Available funding:
In the Second Call for Proposals, the total available amount of IPA funds (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) is 21.500.000 EUR. In Hungary, the projects will be financed by the IPA fund and the Hungarian state, while in Serbia projects will be financed through the IPA Fund and the participation of beneficiaries.

Programme area:
The eligible area includes Csongrád and Bács-Kiskun counties in Hungary, as well as West Bačka, North Bačka, North Banat, South Bačka, Middle Banat, South Banat and Srem in Serbia.

Who can submit project proposals?
Non-profit public or private organizations whose headquarters or regional/ local offices are located in the Programme area may submit project proposals in the framework of a partnership. The partnership must consist of at least one organization from the Hungarian and one organization from the Serbian side of the Programme area. Organizations should have stable and sufficient professional and financial resources, experience in the field of activities similar to those in the application form and direct responsibility for the project.

How to apply?
It is necessary to fill in the application form electronically using the IMIS 2014-2020 Application module. Instructions, as well as all documents containing the conditions and relevant information for the Second Call for Proposals are available on the official website of the Programme – www.interreg-ipa-husrb.com in the section Call for Proposals.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 31 January 2017, until midnight according to CET. Proposals may not be submitted after the deadline.
