Open call for proposals under the Civil Society Facility Programme 2015 in the Republic of Serbia

The call for proposals under the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Serbia – Civil Society Facility Programme 2015 was launched on 22nd March 2016.

The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen participatory democracies and the EU integration process by empowering civil society to actively rake part in decision making and by stimulating an enabling legal and financial environment for civil society.

The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:

1. to increase the effectiveness of the Serbian CSOs in undertaking initiatives,

2. to enhance regional cooperation and dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo,

3. to strengthen the role of civil society organisations in the process of negotiations with the EU and policy monitoring.

The lead applicant must be legal person, non-profit-making CSO established in a Member State of the European Union or, in a county covered by the IPA Regulation. Co-applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to the lead applicant. In addition, the following are also eligible: media (print, electronic, on-line media, news agencies) and independent bodies and independent regulators working in the areas relevant for the Call.

In the case the lead applicant is a CSO not established in Serbia, it must act with at least one co-applicant that is established in Serbia.

The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 3,800,000.  Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following amounts: EUR 300,000 and EUR 500,000, and following percentages of total eligible costs of the actions: 50-90%.

The project proposal must be submitted online via PROSPECT, conditioned by prior registration in PADOR database.

The deadline for the submission of project proposals is: 06/05/2016 at 15:00.
