First Call for Proposals of the Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Programme – ADRION 2014-2020 open
The Adriatic-Ionic Transnational Programme aims to support transnational cooperation projects that strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Adriatic-Ionian region. The eligible area encompasses the territory of eight countries – 4 EU Member States (Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia) and the 4 states which are in the pre-accession process (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia).
The First Call for Proposals under the Interreg V b Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Programme 2014-2020 – ADRION is open as of 1st February 2016 and the deadline for submission of project proposals is 25th March 2016.
ADRION programme priority axes:
1. Innovative and Smart Region
1.1. Support the development of a regional innovation system for the Adriatic-Ionian area.
2. Sustainable region
2.1. Promote the sustainable valorisation and preservation of natural and cultural assets as growth assets in the Adriatic-Ionian area;
2.2. Enhance the capacity in transnationally tackling environmental vulnerability, fragmentation and the safeguarding of ecosystem services in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
3. Connected region
3.1. Enhance capacity for integrated transport and mobility services and multimodality in the Adriatic Ionian area.
EU grant amount:
Min EU contribution = EUR 800.000
Max EU contribution = EUR 1.500.000
EU contribution: up to 85% of project eligible costs for all partners
Project duration: up to 24 months
The budget of the First Call is EUR 33,149,023 (EUR 28,045,157 from the European Regional Development Fund and EUR 5,103,866 from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance II).
