Open First Call for Proposals within Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020

The first Call for Proposals within Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020 was launched on 15th March 2016.

The overall aim of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020 is to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the Programme area through implementation of joint projects and activities.

The priorities funded under this call for proposals are the following:

  1. Improving the quality of public social and health services in the Programme area;
  2. Protecting the environment and biodiversity, improving risk prevention and promoting sustainable energy and energy efficiency;
  3. Contributing to the development of tourism and preserving cultural and natural heritage;
  4. Enhancing competitiveness and developing business environment in the Programme area.

 

In order to be eligible for a grant, the Lead Applicant/Partner must meet all of the following criteria:

  • be non-profit-making legal person/entity;
  • be registered in respecting participating country (Croatia and/or Serbia);
  • must have at least two partners, one from each participating country;
  • Lead Applicant has to be registered at least 12 months prior to the deadline for submission of applications.

 

The projects may be implemented in the following areas covered by the Programme: North Bačka District, West Bačka District, South Bačka District, Srem District and Mačva District (Serbia) and Osijek-Baranja County, Vukovar-Srijem County, Požega-Slavonia County and Brod-Posavina County.

The 1st Call for Proposals will cover the Programme budget for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the total available budget for these years is 15.009.809 EUR out of which 12.758.338 EUR represents the EU funding (Programme amount) and the remaining 2.251.471 EUR represents the national co-financing. The EU funding percentage will be maximum 85%, whereas the applicants from each participating county must provide at least 15% co-financing.

Project duration: 12-30 months.

Project proposals must be submitted through the online electronic Monitoring System (eMS) system.

The deadline for the submission of project proposals is: 1st July 2016 at 15:00h.
