On European calls in Srbobran

In order to strengthen the municipal capacities, as well as intensify the cooperation with local self-governments, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund – AP Vojvodina visited the municipality of Srbobran on 31 October 2012. The attendees were comprised of representatives of municipal administration, public companies, non-governmental organisations and citizens’ associations from the territory of Srbobran Municipality, as well as representatives of Bečej Municipality.

The attendees were greeted by a representative of Department for International and Regional Cooperation and NIP, who emphasized that it was important for Srbobran to actively prepare the municipality for the utilisation of European funds. The representatives of the Fund informed the participants about the current calls, as well as about the new programming period 2014-2020. In order to prepare the necessary documentation for IPA Components 3 and 4, it was important that municipalities and local communities cooperated with the Fund. The representatives of Bečej Municipality used the opportunity to talk about their experiences and agreed to perform jointly with Srbobran Municipality in the projects to come. The participants were also informed about the options that the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels offered, as well as about the first issue of “Vojvodina WORLD” newsletter.
