On European funds in Sremski Karlovci

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina have held a presentation on the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance and possibilities for obtaining EU funding. First, the attendees were addressed by the assistant head of Department for Social Activities of the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci, Igor Relić, who pointed out how important European projects were for the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci and presented the municipality’s previous experience in them.

The significance of EU funds was briefly presented by the Fund’s representative, Mina Radmilović. In addition, the attendees were informed about the current Call for Proposals under the Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Serbia, which is open until 15th November, and for which institutions of Karlovci municipality are also eligible. The recently opened Call offers possibilities for obtaining funding for projects in the area economic and social development, as well as projects focusing on the development of tourism and environmental protection. The value of projects falling under the first and second measure is between €50,000 and €200,000, whereas under the third measure, People to People, the maximum amount is €50,000 per project.
