An agreement on cooperation between the Serbian National Theater and the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina was signed

An agreement on cooperation between the Serbian National Theater and the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina was signed.

The agreement was signed by Zoran Đeric, the head of the SNP, and Aleksandar Simurdić, the director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, who emphasized that the cooperation existed before, but that it is now formally official.

“From the beginning, we have been focused on international projects and we have applied for some other international projects for drama and ballet, and we have managed to implement some of them. I hope that with the help of the European Affairs Fund APV we will have even more opportunities in the future. The idea is to join the potentials and to do something that will be important to us, to the City and the Province”, said Zoran Đerić.

Aleksandar Simurdić pointed out that this cooperation, which only continues, will give the wind in the back to the Serbian National Theater.
“It is a good moment for this cooperation because we are on the threshold of the new multiannual financial framework of the European Union for the period 2021-2027. We can see the capacities of both the Serbian National Theater and other cultural institutions in Vojvodina, formulate priorities following new strategic documents, and on that path, strive for external sources of financing”, said Simurdić.

Both partners who signed the Cooperation Agreement believe that, fortunately for the audience, large projects will be implemented.
