The training course “Prospects of Financing through EU Funds” for the representatives of the National Council of the Slovak National Minority
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Jano Puškar and Tamara Glišić have held the training course ”Prospects of Financing through EU Funds“ in Bački Petrovac Municipality for 21 representatives of the National Council of the Slovak National Minority, attending the course and coming from different places of Vojvodina (Alibunar, Bačka Palanka, Bački Petrovac, Kovačica and Novi Sad).
During the three-day intensive seminar, the participants obtained detailed information about the programmes and funds available to institutions from the Republic of Serbia, whilst special attention was paid to the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programmes with EU Member States, such as the Hungary-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme, Romania-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme and Croatia-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme. In the framework of lectures and practical tasks on the second day of the training, the attendees filled in the project logical matrix while developing project ideas jointly in groups. The participants were mostly interested in project ideas in the field of environmental protection, culture, tourism and improvement of education. The last day of the training was reserved for the presentation of project budget, along with the structure of the application form most often used in the cross-border cooperation programmes.
The training course marked the continuation of the cooperation between the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and of the National Councils of National Minorities of Vojvodina. It was preceded by the one for the representatives of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, which was held in Zrenjanin in March.
