Representatives of Plandište Municipality in working visit to the Fund

In accordance with the long-term engagement in the development of local self-governments on the territory of AP Vojvodina, with special emphasis on those less developed, a meeting was held with Jovan Repac, president of Plandište Municipality at the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina. On behalf of the host, the meeting was attended by Vidosava Enderić, director and Branislav Srdić and Dejana Luković, associates.

The representatives of Plandište presented the successful project “Together for an Inclusive Community” under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme with Romania, as well as the one in the field of illumination of the municipality by LED bulbs.

Moreover, the need for the modernization of the water supply and sewage network was emphasized. For the development of the municipality, it was of vital importance to promote the tourism potentials, such as spa and hunting tourism, and to reconstruct the local roads, chapel and cinema, for which applications for EU funds could be submitted. Cooperation was agreed, whereby the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, in cooperation with the leaders of the municipality of Plandište, would come up with another European project by means of which an application for the following call under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme with Romania would be submitted.
