Representatives of the provincial administration on a training course on EU project development within the 2014-2020 financial perspective
In cooperation with the Department of Human Resources Management, the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, have held the ninth training course on EU project development “EU Funds – from Idea to Realization“ for the representatives of provincial institutions. The three-day training course was held at the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina from 18th to 20th May 2016 by the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Jano Puškar and Tamara Glišić.
During the course, the representatives of the provincial administration obtained detailed information about the novelties in the second cycle of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II), operating within the ongoing seven-year financial perspective of the European Union from 2014 to 2020. In addition to the IPA, the participants gained information about a number of EU internal programmes funded from the common EU budget, in which Serbia is eligible for participation given its status of a candidate country for EU accession. Special attention was paid to the Interreg IPA CBC programmes applicable for AP Vojvodina, such as the cross-border cooperation with the EU Member States – Croatia, Hungary and Romania, as well as the programme with Bosnia and Herzegovina, where participation is open for institutions from Srem.
During the three-days training course, working in small groups, the participants developed project ideas indicated as important for the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina under the ongoing Interreg IPA CBC, where the right for participation is granted for institutions registered on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The participants gained insight into the tools and methodologies used in developing project ideas, such as the logical framework approach, logical matrix, while the regulations on EU project budgeting were addressed on the last day.
The successful five-year cooperation between the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and the Department of Human Resources Management of the Provincial Government has resulted in nine training courses in total for 180 representatives of the provincial administration held so far.
