Presentation of the project ” Strengthen entrepreneurial skills of Cultural and Creative Industries for the valorization of cultural heritage and the development of sustainable tourism models in the Adriatic-Ionian regions – CCI4TOURISM”

The project ” Strengthen entrepreneurial skills of Cultural and Creative Industries for the valorization of cultural heritage and the development of sustainable tourism models in the Adriatic-Ionian regions ” – CCI4TOURISM has been presented, on October 30, 2020, at the Centre for Economic and Technological Development of AP Vojvodina in Andrevlje.

The project, funded by the Interreg Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Cooperation Program – Adrion 2014-2020, and implemented by the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in cooperation with partners from Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece, is focused on strengthening entrepreneurial skills and competence of the cultural and creative industries (CCI) sector.

The goal of the CCI4TOURISM project is to establish the cultural and creative industry (CCI) as a major actor in strengthening sustainable cultural tourism and forming appropriate policies to improve the tourist offer in the Adriatic-Ionian region where cultural heritage represents untapped tourism potential.

The project envisages the involvement of all interested representatives of the CCI sector through the various activities, and presents the benefits and opportunities they may have from the project. By interconnecting the cultural, creative and entrepreneurial sectors, the project will create new business models, companies, services and products of sustainable cultural tourism.
