The X-DEGREE project promoted at the 85th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad

The “EXploitation of Different Energy sources for GREen Energy production – X DEGREE“ project was presented at this year’s 85th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad. The promotion was held on the project stand at 11 am, on 18 May, when the results achieved so far in the implementation of the X-DEGREE project were presented.

The project is co-financed by the EU under the IPA Interreg Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020, and it is aiming at raising the energy independence of public utility companies using renewable energy sources, improving the use of biomass in the biogas production plants, and raising public awareness about the energy potential in renewable energy sources in the cross-border regions.

The project partners are the University of Novi Sad, Public Utility Company “Vodokanal” Sombor, European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Vinkovci Water Supply and Sewerage Ltd., and Agricultural Institute Osijek.
