Educational workers from Sombor on a training course on EU project development
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Čarna Zeljković and Tijana Krstić Maravić, have held the training course “EU funding opportunities” for educational workers of elementary schools of the City of Sombor.
The training course was held at the primary school “22. oktobar (22nd October)” in Bački Monoštor from 25th to 27th April 2016 for 22 participants from 4 elementary schools of the City of Sombor. The participants learned about the opportunities offered by EU programmes with the focus on education. The presentation involved the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia and Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia, which were of interest to institutions from West Bačka District at the moment, with its specificificities and rules of procedures, and which were funded under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, a special instrument of the European Union used by the countries in the EU accession process. Moreover, the participants were presented with the funding opportunities under the EU programmes, such as Erasmus +, the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport and Europe for Citizens, open to civil society organizations and local self-governments.
In the practical part of the training course, the participants gained hands-on experience in the development of basic project elements using the logical framework. The three-day training course resulted in the development of five project ideas, which could be submitted under the EU calls for proposals to be opened in the future.
