Educational workers from Jagodina on a training course on EU project development
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Čarna Zeljković and Tijana Krstić Maravić, held a three-day training course “EU funding opportunities” at the “Svetozar Marković” Grammar School in Jagodina from 11th to 13th May 2016. The objective of the course was to train the teaching staff for individual development and implementation of EU-funded projects.
The participants learned about the opportunities offered by the EU programmes, with the focus on education. The presentation involved the programmes and funds available to institutions, above all educational ones, in the Republic of Serbia at the moment, paying special attention to Erasmus+, the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport and Europe for Citizens, open to civil society organizations and local self-governments.
In the practical part of the training course, the participants gained hands-on experience in the development of basic project elements using the logical framework. The three-day training course resulted in the development of four project ideas, which could be submitted under the EU calls for proposals to be opened in the future.
