Educational workers on a training course on EU project development
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Dražen Lovrić and Tijana Krstić Maravić, held a three-day training course “EU funding opportunities” at the ” Aleksa Šantić” Elementary School in Stepanovićevo from 8th to 10th March 2017. The objective of the course was to train the teaching staff for individual development and implementation of EU-funded projects.
During the training course, the participants obtained additional information on the novelties within the second cycle of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II), operating within the ongoing seven-year financial perspective of the European Union from 2014 to 2020, with focus on the cross-border cooperation programmes available to AP Vojvodina. In addition to the IPA, the participants gained information about a number of EU internal programmes funded from the common EU budget, which are currently available to institutions from the Republic of Serbia, in particular educational institutions.
The practical part of the training focused on the development of participants’ skills and attitude, so that they could develop project proposals on their own, think of potential partner organisations, build the project structure by means of the logical framework and develop the project budget, obeying the legislative limits imposed by the European Union. After the training course, the participants were awarded a certificate on successful training completion.
The three-day training course resulted in the development of three project ideas, which could be submitted under the EU calls for proposals to be opened in the future.
