Cooperation between RTV and the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina

By the end of the year, the Radio-Television of Vojvodina and the European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina will strengthen and concretize the cooperation, first of all, by signing the Protocol on business-technical cooperation. This was agreed at today’s meeting between the general director of the provincial public service, Dr. Miodrag Koprivica, and the director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Aleksandar Simurdić.

On that occasion, the general director of Radio-Television of Vojvodina, Dr. Miodrag Koprivica, pointed out that the newly built building, the return of Radio-Television of Vojvodina to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the planned launch of the Danube Media Portal, but also developed international cooperation and correspondent network of that media house, facts that only confirm the readiness of RTV to be a partner in the European development of Vojvodina, and thus of Serbia. According to him, the Danube media portal should start working by the end of the year, and it already has 30 members and is the result of the production of programs in eight Danube languages. The openness of the Radio-Television of Vojvodina towards Europe and the world in general will be accompanied by the expansion of the correspondent network, which is planned for 2021.

In the opinion of the director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Aleksandar Simurdić, the future Protocol on business and technical cooperation should direct the joint work between the two mentioned institutions towards the affirmation of the European agenda, which is not political. Among other things, he proposed the production of video content, which will show the complete performance of the Fund in order to improve local governments, program series to bring Novi Sad and Vojvodina closer to the Danube countries, as well as the production of a virtual tour through Vojvodina.
