Meeting of the coordination group for the use of EU funds

The meeting of the coordination group for the use of EU funds was held at the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on 7 November 2016 at 11 am. The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Mina Radmilović Pjevac and Andrija Aleksić presented the 2nd Call of the Hungary-Serbia Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme and the two open calls under Creative Europe (Culture sub-programme), whereas Milan Čežek emphasised the importance of the activity and networking of the coordination group. The new members and their positive experience in project funding were presented at the meeting.

The first item of the agenda was the presentation of the 2nd Call of the Hungary-Serbia Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Following the results of the three calls in the previous budget period, the presentation involved the new priorities and actions, the distribution of amounts and timeframes in the framework of the 2nd Call.

The second item of the agenda was the presentation of the two new calls under Creative Europe. The implementation of the EU programme in the field of culture and audiovisual arts, with the budget of EUR 1.46 billion, started on 1 January 2016 and will last until 31 December 2020. Currently there are two calls open under Creative Europe, Culture sub-programme. The call for proposals for European networks is open. The deadline for the submission of project proposals is 25 November 2016.  The second open call is related to European cooperation projects and provides funding for two types of projects – small- and large-scale cooperation projects. The deadline for the submission of project proposals is 23 November 2016.
