The PoWER PLUS partners’ meeting
Within the PoWER PLUS project, funded by the Interreg V-B Adriatic-Ionian Cooperation Programme (ADRION), online project team meeting was held, involviong 8 partners located in 6 different countries.
A meeting topic was questionnaire, as the first step of the foresight process that will detect the main issues which may be affecting Adriatic-Ionian ports, dedicated to the collection of experts’ views on possible future scenarios related to the port areas involved in the project (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy and Serbia) also in consideration of the wider situation and trends in this area. The questionnaire has been developed with reference Next Generation EU and Agenda 2030 goals, which apply both to sea and river ports, and is articulated in multiple questions divided in four sections: 1. Towards smart ports: digital transition of services and processes in the port system; 2. The port in the territory: valorisation of the waterfront and new opportunities for regenerating the physical spaces in the port – city interface; 3. Ports in the Adriatic-Ionian area; 4. The port environment after the Covid19 pandemic outbreak. It was also discussed about future events that will be organized by each project partners’ couple with the specific aim of increasing awareness among potential beneficiaries and stakeholders on the role of European Territorial Cooperation and of promoting the practical use, relevance and transferability of the project outcomes.
