A meeting of Serbia – Croatia Cross-border Cooperation has been held at the Executive Council
Novi Sad, 4 May – The Office for European Affairs has organized a partnership meeting of Serbia – Croatia Cross-border Cooperation (CBC) Programme 2007-2013. The participants were representatives of the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, Osijek-Baranja County, Erdut Municipality, Faculty of Economics of Osijek, Kneževi Vinogradi Municipality, Ministry of International Economic Relations of the Government of Republic of Serbia, Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities, Regional Chamber of Economy of Sombor, Chamber of Economy of Vojvodina, Chamber of Economy of Srem, Alma Mons and a few provincial secretariats.
Igor Bajić, Advisor at the Office for European Affairs, opened the meeting, and Emina Štefičić, Coordinator for CBC with Serbia, pointed out the importance of the joint workshop when CBC documents were studied. The presentation included Swot analysis, situation analysis, priorities and measures on which the continuation of work would be based. The Serbia – Croatia CBC Programme would cover the area of Osijek-Baranja County, Vukovar-Srijem County (with the possibility of adjoining Brod-Posavina County and Posavina-Slavonia County), Bačka, Srem and two largest towns of Mačva District.
