Meeting with the delegation of Republic of Srpska
Nebojša Drakulić and Jovan Podraščanin, Assistants of the Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-government, and Vidosava Enderić, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, had a meeting with the delegation of Republic of Srpska on 4 April 2017. Among the delegation, headed by Zlatan Klokić, Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, were: Radmila Dragišić, Assistant Minister for the EU at the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of Republic of Srpska, and Mlađen Cicović, Director of the Representative Office of Republic of Srpska in Serbia.
The meeting touched upon the performance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a partner country, on the forthcoming 84th International Agricultural Fair to be held at the Novi Sad Fair 13th-19th May 2017, as well as about the opportunities for joint attraction of resources from IPA funds, cooperation between development agencies, enhancement of cooperation in networking chambers, as well as in the area of tourism.
Moreover, it was assessed that there is space for strengthening of cooperation in the field of economic development, agriculture and regional networking. Vidosava Enderić, the Fund’s Director, underlined that in the future, efforts will be made to improve and intensify the cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of Republic of Srpska.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that the forthcoming Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad is an opportunity to present all the potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. Republic of Srpska and network with other potentials. Moreover, it is necessary to make an effort to attract as much as possible resources from the fund allocated for the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of both governments.
