Meetings with new partners in Brussels
On Friday, 19th January 2018, the representatives of the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels held two separate meetings with Rob van Eijkeren, Head of Office of the House of Dutch Provinces, and Patrick Heinrichs, International Marketing Adviser at the Walloon Business Federation.
Both meetings aimed at enhancing the cooperation between AP Vojvodina and its entities with the new partners, since there had been no cooperation with those regions and Business Federation yet.
As a result, the provincial institutions were delivered relevant information about the areas in which there were prospects for cooperation and formalization of relations. The House of Dutch Provinces gathers 12 regions, therefore it is to be identified with which regions our province would work more closely and in which areas. Cooperation in the agricultural sector, IT sector, etc. are in the interest of Vojvodina.
The Walloon businessmen will establish contacts with the Vojvodina Development Agency and the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. Moreover, they are interested in cooperating in project development in the field of environmental protection, water management and waste management. Furthermore, some of their largest companies have also expressed interest in doing business on the territory of AP Vojvodina.
Both interlocutors have been informed about the agricultural potentials of Vojvodina, subsidies the Provincial Government provides for foreign and domestic businessmen, and finally, with the most important topics with which Vojvodina European Office in Brussels deals.
