Certificate award ends the fourth cycle of the Specialized Programme “Management of Regional Development through EU Funds“

The award of certificates to the participants having successfully completed the Specialized Programme “Management of Regional Development through EU Funds” has been held at the Educons University in Sremska Kamenica, with which the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina implemented the fourth cycle of the Programme. The event was attended by Ognjen Bjelić, Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Vidosava Enderić Director of European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and Aleksandar Andrejević, PhD, Rector of Educons University.
Ognjen Bjelić, Provincial Secretary handed the certificates to the participants, using the opportunity to underline the importance of education in the field given that in the process of European integration, we were undergoing changes which would put the development policy in focus.
“Professional capacity building is especially important in circumstances when the strategic directions of our country’s development are directed towards enhancing the overall environment for attracting business entities with good projects, which are increasing our economic performance, above all, the capacity to create new jobs and markets”, Bjelić said, adding that it was almost impossible to talk about regional development without having educated people who possessed know-how in the field.
The Fund’s Director congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the Programme. She praised their commitment throughout the Programme and encouraged them to continue with their development, especially in terms of cooperation in European project development. She also offered the participants the Fund’s assistance at any moment.
The complete Specialized Programme was funded by the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
