Study visit to Kranj
Within the framework of the study visit of the fourth generation of the Specialized Programme “Management of Regional Development through EU Funds”, which the Fund has been implementing successfully for several years, this time with the Educons University, and which is funded by the AP Vojvodina, the European Affairs Fund of the AP Vojvodina was presented in Kranj, Slovenia. Namely, as in the previous years, and on the basis of diversified regional cooperation, the study visit was organized for the participants of the Specialised Programme, with the focus on the visit to successfully implemented EU funded projects. In addition to the Fund’s representatives, the study tour involved the participants of the fourth generation of the Specialized Programme, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Educons University of Sremska Kamenica. The participants are employees of provincial institutions, representatives of local self-governments, public and public-utility companies, and the civil sector in the AP Vojvodina.
The delegation was led by Vidosava Enderić, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Jovan Podraščanin, Assistant Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, and Nikola Žeželj, Director of the Vojvodina Development Agency.
During the study visit, the hosts were Jelena Vidović, project manager at the Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska and Tamara Mravinec, assistant to the project leader at the Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska.
Our delegation also had a meeting with Branko Fartek, Director of the Kranj Institute of Sport, Klemen Langus, Director of Bohinj Tourism, Matjaž Berčon, Director of Bled City Administration, Elizabeta Pristav Bobnar, Director of the Residential Home Tabor, Jurij Bernik, Director of the SORA Development Agency, as well as the Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Gorenjska region.
Among them are the energy recovery of the pools within the REAAL project, Gorenjska Museum, Pungert, Layer House, co-working center – Kovačnica, Center of the Triglav National Park Bohinj, culinary center of the Gorenjska region (Jezeršek Academy), rehabilitation of the Residential Home Tabor, Planica Nordic Centre, Kranj House where the Tourist Information Centre is.
In addition to exchanging experience on implemented EU projects, the development of joint projects to apply for EU funds, with special attention to the Adriatic-Ion Transnational and Danube Transnational Programmes, was also discussed.
