“United in diversity” in Vojvodina

After the first part of the training cycle for women in rural parts of Vojvodina has finished, the projects by means of which applications for EU funds would be submitted were presented, in cooperation with the Provincial Secretariat for Labor, Employment and Gender Equality and Institute for Gender Equality, at the Novi Sad Fair yesterday.

“With its ethnic diversity and cultural heritage, Vojvodina certainly has something to offer. In the forthcoming period we are planning to create a number of projects, through the support of pre-accession funds of the European Union, which will support the strengthening of cultural and customary values, as well as the valuation of our Province’s potential. At the moment the Call for Proposals under the Cross-border Programme with Hungary is open and we are starting with new programmes together with our friends from Kanjiža, Senta, Žabalj, Ada, Sombor, Ruma, Sečanj, Čerević, Kovačica and other places”, said Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs.
