On European calls in Vršac

In order to strengthen the municipal capacities, as well as intensify the cooperation with local self-governments, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund – AP Vojvodina visited the municipality of Vršac on 8 November 2012. The attendees were comprised of representatives of municipal administration, public companies, non-governmental organisations and citizens’ associations from the territory of Vršac Municipality, as well as representatives of municipalities of Plandište and Bela Crkva.

The attendees were greeted by a representative of Local Economic Development Office of municipality of Vršac, who emphasized the importance of intermunicipal cooperation and joint preparation for the future IPA component, regional cooperation. The representatives of the Fund presented the prospects within IPA Component 3, as well as cooperation with the Fund. The participants used the opportunity to talk about their experiences and agreed to perform jointly with Vršac Municipality in the projects to come. The participants were also informed about the options that the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels offered, as well as about the first issue of “Vojvodina WORLD” newsletter.
