On European funds in Zrenjanin

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina have presented what prospects financing through EU funds offers. The attendees were first addressed by Predrag Novikov, director of the Fund, who explained the importance of active participation in EU programmes that open up to potential candidate countries, and especially to candidate countries to EU membership. After that the president of the Assembly of Zrenjanin, Aleksandar Marton presented the town’s previous experience and its future challenges.

In addition, the representatives of the Fund, Mina Radmilović and Andrija Aleksić gave a presentation, from which the attendees could obtain information about European funds and EU programmes, with an emphasis on cross-border cooperation programmes, which are to open in the forthcoming period.
