On regional cooperation in Leskovac

After the visit of the delegation of South Serbia to Vojvodina and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, the representatives of the Fund have visited Leskovac and participated in the regional conference “Intermunicipal partnership for future cooperation” for the area of Niš, Leskovac, Doljevac, Gadžin Han and Merošina.

The conference presented the mechanisms Vojvodina used in relation to regional cooperation, and the experience of AP Vojvodina in the use of European funds. Vojvodina has been working on the capacity building of local self-governments, as well as other interested parties regarding regional cooperation and European projects for some time. In the past few years, over 180 projects have been funded from different European programmes in AP Vojvodina and those experiences are valuable for the partners coming from other parts of the country.
